Samuel Wade Stewart

Mr. Samuel Wade Stewart, age 54, of Macclenny, FL went home to Heaven to join his earthly father on Thursday, August 17, in the Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, Macclenny, FL. Mr. Stewart was born in Macclenny, FL and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. He worked as the maintenance supervisor at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital for 25 years until his retirement. Mr. Stewart loved fixing up old cars, carpentry and painting. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel P. Stewart. Mr. Stewart is survived by his children, Samuel Wade Stewart, Jr. and Rachel Rae Stewart: his mother, Mary Stewart: siblings, Lesia (Tim) McKinnon, Brenda (Eric) Kinghorn, Robert Stewart, Ellen Stewart and Lynn Curry. Eleven nieces and nephews and 3 great nephews also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Stewart will be held at 3 P.M., Saturday, August 19 in the Glen Friendship Tabernacle with Pastor Albert Starling officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 2 to 3 P.M. (one hour before services). Interment will follow in Manntown Cemetery.
