Mrs. Sandra Dell Cobb, age 66, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Wednesday, July 24, in the Solaris Health Care of Lake City, Florida. Mrs. Cobb was born in Orlando, Florida and lived in Macclenny, Chipley and Tallahassee before moving to Lake City in 2001. She was a graduate of Baker County High School Class of 1976, worked for Northeast Florida Telephone Company and spent many years helping her husband in his ministry. She was a member of the Wellborn Church of God, loved gardening and visiting Israel and observing the Jewish culture and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor William Colonel Cobb, Jr. and her parents, James P. and Jessie D. Morris Rutherford, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Terry) Preston of Lake City, Florida; one son, Kevin (Kelly) Cobb of Lake City, Florida; one sister, Renee (Andy) Staier of Sanderson, Florida; one brother, James P. Rutherford, Jr. of Orlando, Florida; Eight grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Cobb will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, July 29, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Staier of the Elevate Life Church, Oak Leaf officiating and assisted by Pastor Brian Osburn of the Wellborn Church of God. Interment will be in Olustee Cemetery, Olustee, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
