Sandra Michelle Jackson

Ms. Sandra Michelle Jackson, age 51, of Hilliard, Florida passed away Monday, Oct. 10, in the Baptist Medical Center Downtown, Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Albany Georgia and lived in Hilliard, Florida for the past 20 years. She was employed with the Florida Dept. of Corrections as an assistant director for SHISA House East pre-work release center in Jacksonville, Florida for 10 years. She was a Georgia Bulldog fan that enjoyed anything to do with her grandchildren and spending time with all her family. She was preceded in death by her father William S. McLeod and step-father Frank Gordon Harris. She is survived by her daughter Lydia Nicole (J.D) Hyatt of Hilliard, Florida; her mother, Lydia Harris (Frank) of Sylvester, Georgia; two bonus daughters, Bobbie Grimes and Angie Williamson, both of Tifton, Georgia; three sisters, Lori Carroll (Gene) and Brandy Euilano (Lewis) both of Sylvester, Georgia and Jennifer McLeod of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; two brothers, William S. “Billy” McLeod, Jr. of St. Augustine, Florida, Andrew Harris of Sylvester, Georgia; mother-in-law, Nancy Ruby of Hilliard, Florida; two grandchildren Jayden Perdomo and Jordyn Hyatt with one on the way, two nephews Michael Carroll (Meagan) and David Carroll (Brittany) along with many other beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor the life of Ms. Jackson will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 29, in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, U.S Highway 90 East. Macclenny, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 12 to 1 P.M. (One hour before services). GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 420 East Macclenny Ave, Macclenny, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
