Mrs. Sara Jane Mann, age 76, of Sanderson, Fla. died Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Macclenny Nursing & Rehab Center, Sanderson, Fla. following an extended illness. She was born in Macclenny, Fla. and had made her home in Sanderson, Fla. for the past 42 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Fla. She played on the girls Baker County High School basketball team that won the State Championship in 1956. She enjoyed growing flowers, working in her garden and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Hettie Hodges Thrift and her late husband, Donald Mann. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jane (Donnie) Simmons of Jacksonville, Fla.: One son, Donald (Robin) Mann of Sanderson, Fla.: Five grandchildren, Chris (Traci) Mann, Jennifer Raulerson, Richard Mann, Ashley Green and Lacey Green: Five great-grandchildren, Kristina Jasonek, Trey Jasonek, Journie Mann, Eden Mann and Gabey Green. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Oral Lyons, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev, Justin Griffis. Interment will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday, Jan. 20, at the church. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, Macclenny, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
