Sarah Frances "Pat" Crews

Mrs. Sarah Frances “Pat” Crews, age 83, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Thursday, July 21 at home with her loving family by her side, following an extended illness. Mrs. Crews was born in Glen St. Mary, FL and was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL. She was a graduate of Baker County High School, Class of 1958. Shortly after graduating she married the one and only love of her life on August 4, 1958. Mrs. Crews worked as a clerk for the Baker County Tax Collector’s office until her retirement and attended Christian Fellowship Temple. She enjoyed dancing, poker, and being with her children and grandchildren. She also cherished spending time with her friends and classmates. Mrs. Crews is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Edna Newmans Rhoden, her late husband, Virgil L. Crews, and two sons, Jeffrey V. Crews, Sr. and Barney L. Crews; grandson, Zachary Osburn. She is survived by one daughter, Patti Osburn (Rick) of Glen St. Mary, FL: daughter in law, Tina Griffis (Mike) of Glen St. Mary, FL: ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Crews will be held at 2 P.M., Sunday, July 24 in Christian Fellowship Temple with Pastor David Thomas and Justin Griffis officiating. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Saturday, July 23 at the church. Interment will follow the funeral services in Oak Grove Cemetery.
