Shanon Maurice Dees, 46 lifelong resident of Lake City, Florida passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his residence. Shanon was born in Jacksonville, FL to Glenn and Sally Dees in 1970. Shanon was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed working as a cabinet installer. He was an avid Gator Football Fan and dreaded when the season would come to an end. Shannon enjoyed being around his friends but, above all he loved his family. Shanon leaves to cherish his memory, His beloved wife Achsah, Mother, Sally Ann Davis, sons, Derek, Mathew and Michael, daughters, Megan and Kimberly, brother, William Lindsey, sisters Desirea Russ and Belinda “BJ” Dees, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery just south of Cross City, Florida.
