Mrs. Sharon G. Bennett, age 55, of Taylor, Florida died Wednesday, April 1, at her residence following long illness. She was born in Macclenny, Florida and had resided in the Taylor community of Baker County all of her life. She worked in the warehouse of Winn-Dixie Food Stores for a few years, but was mostly a homemaker and hard worker for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Perry and Dolly Mae Parkinson Streat and her mother-in-law, Lottie Bell Wilkinson. She is survived by her husband, A.J. Bennett of Taylor, Florida: Two daughters, Jeannie (Zary) Alford of Glen St. Mary, Florida and Lisa Gail Bennett of Taylor, Florida: Five grandchildren, Chelzie Alford, Breanna Alford, Dylan Lewis, Dalton Lewis and Baleigh Lewis: One sister, Karen (Bobby) Bennett, Sr. of Taylor, Florida: One brother, Jimmie L. (Sandra) Streat of Sanderson, Florida: numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, April 4, in The Lord’s Church, Taylor, Florida with Rev. Bobby Griffin, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Justin Griffis. Interment will be in North Prong Cemetery, Baker County, Florida.
