Sharon Chiasson

Ms. Sharon J. Chiasson, age 74, of Macclenny, FL passed away Wednesday, July 19 in the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Hospice Unit, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Ms. Chiasson was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL and was very active in her church, Christian Fellowship Temple. She loved her family, enjoyed cooking, gardening and being outdoors. Ms. Chiasson was preceded in death by her late husband, Myron Paul Chiasson, parents, Quentin T. and Ida Mae Dugger Milton, three sisters, Marion E. Lyons, Mary Lou Cole and Brenda Joyce Milton. She is survived by one son, Paul Chiasson, Jr. (Cecelia ) of Lawtey, FL: two daughters, Sherrill Bongers (Allen)of Jacksonville, FL and Sandra D. Newsome (Ed) of Eldersburg, MD: two brothers, James A. Milton and Gary W. Milton both of Macclenny, FL: seven grandchildren, Kelly Bongers, Alex Bongers, Michelle Newsome, Joshua Newsome, Patrick Chiasson, Amber Chiasson and Wayne Chiasson also survive. Funeral services to honor the life of Ms. Chiasson will be held Monday, July 24 at 11 A.M. in the Christian Fellowship Temple. Visitation and gathering with the family will from 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, July 23 at her church. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL.
