Sharon Long

Mrs. Sharon Kay Long, age 58, of Macclenny, FL passed away Wednesday, February 10, in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness. Mrs.Long was a lifelong resident of Baker County, FL and was the Supervisor of Medical Records at Northeast Florida State Hospital, Macclenny, FL for 41 years. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Temple and loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling to the Smoky Mountains. Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Johns Smith. She is survived by her husband, Dwight Long of Macclenny, FL: one son, Michael Long (Melinda) of Macclenny, FL: one daughter, Brandy Burnham (Trent) of Macclenny, FL: her father, Virgil I. Smith of Macclenny, FL and four grandchildren, Logan, Madison and Mason Burnham and Kaylee Long also survive. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mrs. Long will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, February 13, at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, FL with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas, Pastors, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, February 12 at her church.
