Sharon Marie Reichle

Sharon Marie Reichle, of Lake City, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the age of seventy-five. Originally from Michigan, Ms. Reichle was a local resident for the past thirty-five years and worked as a pharmacy tech at the Lake City VA Medical Center for twenty years until the time of her retirement. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and spending time with her family was a great joy to her. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint, playing Bingo, and collecting ceramic ducks. She was also an avid reader. Ms. Reichle is survived by her children: Jason Allen (Kelly) Whitmore of Ocala, Craig Steven Whitmore of Michigan, and Heather Lynn (Roger) Shingleton of Lake City; grandchildren: Andrea, Quentin, Justin, Lexi, Noah, Sarah, Austin, Hayden, Tyler, Nevaeh, Logan, Kayley, and Skyler; numerous great-grandchildren; brother: Allen J. (Gina) Reichle Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan and sister: Barbara Bennett of Jesup, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents: Allen J. and Delores E. Hoffman Reichle Sr. A gathering to celebrate Ms. Reichle’s life will be held in the chapel at Guerry Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1:00pm. Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City, in charge of arrangements.
