Sharon Renee' Roberts

Mrs. Sharon Renee’ Roberts, age 74, of Lake City, Florida died Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida following a brief illness.  Mrs. Roberts was born in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Lake City, Florida in 1965. She was a school bus driver for Columbia county schools for over 30 years and also was a transport driver for Meridian Behavioral Health, Lake City, Florida for many years. She was a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church and was a loving mother and Nanny to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene “Donnie” Roberts, her parents, Julius C. and Ethel Bethea Beach and her grandson, Donald Conine. She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle (Liz Randall) Roberts and Lisa (Fred) Peloni both of Lake City, Florida; former son-in-law, Richard (Karen) Hodson, Sr. of Lake City, Florida; five grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Roberts will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, Nov. 13, in the Salem Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Bicknell, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Herman Griffis. Interment will be in Salem Church Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be 5 to 7 P.M. Friday, Nov. 12, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
