Sherry Darlene Fletcher

Ms. Sherry Darlene Fletcher, 43, of Jacksonville, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born in Jacksonville and has lived there all of her life. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Ms. Fletcher is preceded in death by one son, Blaine Meeker. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” She is survived by her long time companion, William Meeker, Jacksonville; three daughters, Ashley (Jerry) Stephens, Kristen Meeker, and Cheryl Meeker all of Jacksonville; three sons, Steven Fletcher II, John Meeker, and William Meeker all of Jacksonville; father of her oldest son, Steven Fletcher, Jacksonville; one sister, Tammy Gainey, Jacksonville; one nephew, Kevin Richardson, Jacksonville; twelve grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Boone’s Creek Cemetery in St. George, Ga. Visitation with the family will be from 1-2 P.M. (an hour before services).
