Mrs. Shirley Ann Dugger, age 50, of Macclenny, Fla. died Wednesday, Aug. 3, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville and lived in Macclenny all of her life. She was a licensed practical nurse with graduation from Florida Community College, Jacksonville, Fla. She was employed as the Department Head of Employee Health Department of St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla. for 16 years until ill health forced her retirement in 2006. She was also part-owner of N.E. Florida Power Equipment in Macclenny, Fla. and a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny, Fla. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Virginia Johns Smith. She is survived by her husband, Terry W. Dugger of Macclenny, Fla.: Her daughter, Courtney (Kyle) Hall of Macclenny, Fla.: Her father, Virgil Smith of Macclenny, Fla.: One sister, Sharon (Dwight) Long of Macclenny, Fla.: Her companion and family pet, Jack: several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M., Sunday, Aug. 7, in the Christian Fellowship Temple with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Tim Thomas, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, Fla. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M., Saturday, Aug. 6, at her church, Christian Fellowship Temple.
