Shirley Jean Quinn

Ms. Shirley Jean Quinn, 70 of Macclenny, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center in Macclenny after a long illness. Ms. Quinn was born in Jessup, Georgia to the late J.T. and Sara Frances Riddle Surrency and lived most of her life in Macclenny. She enjoyed growing roses, flowers, reading her Bible and Praying. She attended the Vineyard of Love Ministries in Olustee when able. Ms. Quinn was preceded in death by three sisters, Gail Carnal, Frances Upton and Linda Chisholm and one brother, Thad Surrency.
Ms. Quinn is survived by her children, Donna Williams, Alma (Delbert) Benefield, James Geiger, Thomas Geiger and John Wayne Geiger, one brother, Tommy Surrency, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Quinn will be conducted on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Alexander, pastor of the Vineyard of Love Ministries in Olustee officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
