Shirley A Taylor

Mrs. Shirley A. Taylor, age 69, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Saturday, May 6, at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Taylor was born in Lake Butler, Florida and had resided in Lake City, Florida for the past 47 years. She was a home maker and worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years at many area nursing homes. She loved her family and enjoyed working in arts & crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney L. and Letha Ellis Todd and a sister, Janice Kelly. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeffrey L. Taylor of Lake City, Florida; five children, Marvin Johnson, Charles O'Neal, John Johnson, Loren Johnson and Katherine (Joey) Taylor all of Lake City, Florida; four siblings, Lanita Combs and George Todd both of Lake City, Florida, Sidney Todd of Lake Butler, Florida and Dean Todd of Ludowici, Georgia; Eleven grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, May 9, in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwannee County, Florida with Rev. Louis Gooch, Pastor of the Mt.
