Skye Daniel Liebel

Mr. Skye Daniel Liebel, age 47, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 24, at his residence. Mr. Liebel was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and resided in Lake City, Florida and graduated from Columbia High School in 1993. He then joined the U.S. Marines and traveled on numerous jobs and returned to Lake City five years ago. At the time of his death he was employed as a quality assurance representative with Tactical Air Support at Cecil Field, Jacksonville, Florida.

Mr. Liebel will be remembered for loving his family and being an avid Miami Hurricane football fan.

Mr. Liebel is survived by his wife, Shelly Liebel of Lake City, Florida; mother, Debra Liebel of Lake City, Florida; Seven children, Christopher Auger, Catherine Catledge, Dylan Privette, Xander Johnson, Conner Liebel, Ateya Liebel, and Thayden Liebel all of Lake City, Florida; One sister, Misty Liebel of Lake City, Florida. One Grandchild also survives. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Liebel will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 4, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (One hour before services) at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Lake City, Florida.
