Stephen "Steve" Scott Kelch

Mr. Stephen “Steve” Scott Kelch, age 53, of Lake City, Florida passed away at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida after a brief illness. Steve was born on September 9, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He then proceeded to move to Lake City, Florida where he has resided since 1997. Steve has worked for the Columbia County Department of Corrections for the past 13 years. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. Mr. Kelch is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Kelch and brother, Jeffrey Wayne. He is survived by his mother, Rose Parnell of Lake City, Florida. A funeral service for Mr. Kelch will be held on Tuesday, March 8, at 11 A.M. at Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church, with Pastor Joy Bolander officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation and gathering with family will be on Monday, March 7, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 S.W.
