Susie Marsh

Mrs. Susie Ann Marsh, age 98, of Sanderson, Florida died Tuesday, Oct. 19, in the Macclenny Nursing and Rehab Center, Macclenny, Florida following a long illness.  Mrs. Marsh was born in the Taylor community of Baker County and resided there her entire life. She was a member of the Glen Baptist Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida and enjoyed fishing and camping with her family group.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawton and Essie Rhoden Conner and her husband, William Roger Marsh, Sr. She is survived by her son, William “Billy” (Sun) R. Marsh, Jr. of Sanderson, Florida; three grandchildren, Dana Marie Yarborough, William Timothy Marsh and Dennie Lee Marsh; two sisters, Patsy Groves and Gladys Hair both of Sanderson, Florida; two brothers, Floyd Conner and Virgil Conner both of Sanderson, Florida;  seven great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Marsh will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, Oct. 22, in the Pine Level Church, Baxter, Florida with Rev. Fred Raulerson, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 10 to 11 A.M. (one hour before services).
