Mrs. Thelma Irene Moore, age 87, of Lake City, Florida died Wednesday, Dec. 1, in the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida following an extended illness. Mrs. Moore was born in Lake City, Florida and resided in High Springs, Florida for over 30 years before moving back to Lake City 22 years ago. She worked as a R & D technician with General Electric Assembly in High Springs, Florida for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS Cannon Creek ward, Lake City, Florida. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and staying in their R.V. at Orange Lake, near Lake City and she enjoyed shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leonard Moore and her parents, Robert and Annie Durrance Murray. She is survived by her two daughters, Marina (Michael) Steele of Fort White, Florida and Kendra (Lori Vinesett) Patterson of St. Petersburg, Florida; her son, Tom (Bobbie) Patterson of Lake City, Florida; three grandchildren, Michael Steele, Jr., Brittany Barbatelli and Jesica Cox; six great grandchildren, Mason Steele, Gracie Steele, Addison Barbatelli, Cassidy Barbatelli, Bryson Cox and Braxton Vinesett. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Moore will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 5, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida. Visitation and gathering with the family will be from 1 to 2 P.M. (One hour before services). Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W.
