Thelma Inez Reddick

Mrs. Inez North Howell Reddick, age 93, was  born March 6, 1921 to the late  James Gordon North (Callie Keen North), passed away February  22, 2015 at Still Waters West, Lake City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her  husband, John Carroll Howell 1916-1955 and Bill Reddick 1916-2007, great-grandson, Kyle William Howell, infant son of John N. and Wanda Howell 1975, brothers, Fred North (Rita), Sherod North (Florence), Alston North (Ester) and Colon North (Evelyn), sisters, Flossie North Christie (Finnley), Sadie North Christie (Johnnie) and Callie North Smith (Clarence).  Leaving behind a family that loved her very much are her daughter Kay Howell Sands (David) and her son, John North Howell (Wanda): granddaughter, Michelle Sands Bass:  Grandson, Brad Howell:  Two great-granddaughters, Abby Tuell and Haley Howell:    Two great-grandsons,  Zachary Gaskins and Conner Bass: also several nieces and nephews that she loved and each held a special place in her heart.  Inez graduated from Columbia High School in 1939. She was a lifetime member of the First Advent Christian Church, Lake City, Florida.  Inez was employed over the years  with Southern  Bell, Melrose Park, Chatterbox, Diana Shop, Sears and retiring with the City of Lake City in 1987. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, Feb.  26, in the Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida with  Pastors Fred Gaylord and Tom Amerson officiating and music by Lisa Roberts.  Visitation and a gathering with family will be from 5   to 7 P.M.  Wednesday, Feb. 25,  at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Haven Hospice, Still Waters West  or  the First Advent Christian Church.  Thank you all for prayers, visits and cards.
