Mr. Thomas Warren "Tom" Johnson, age 77, of Macclenny, Fla. died Wednesday, Oct. 26, in Sevierville, Tennessee. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and had resided in Macclenny, Fla. since 1994.
He worked as a detective with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office for thirty-five years and retired in 1990 as a Lietenant. He was a member of The Taylor Church of Taylor, Fla. He was a caring friend to everyone and never met a stranger he didn't know.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Reynolds Johnson of Macclenny, Fla.: Four daughters, Ruth Lillian Plumb of Hagerstown, MD., Debbie (Karl) Hidalgo of Orange Park, Fla., Julie (Howard) McLendon and Pam (Bobby) Carswell both of Jacksonville, Fla.: Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 30, in The Taylor Church, Taylor, Fla. with Rev. Mark Woods, Pastor, officiating and assisted by Rev. Jim Cox. Interment will be in Taylor Cemetery, Taylor, Fla. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 29, in GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla.
