Mr Thomas Edward Rowley, Junior passed away on October 17, 2014 just two months after celebrating his 90th birthday.Thomas was born in New York City to Thomas Edward Rowley and Bridget Jordan Rowley, both of whom were born in Ireland. He served in the Army Air Corp during World II. He was employed as a meteorologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration – National Weather Service. In the course of his career he lived with his family in Jamaica, Panama Canal Zone, Ely, NV, Charleston, SC and Clifton Park, NY. He and his wife Gloria have resided in Lake City since 1992. He was a member of the Country Club at Lake City and the American Legion Post 57 in Lake City FL. He was a communicant at Epiphany Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Gloria Melville Rowley and children Thomas EdwardRowley III (Catherine Parsons) of San Jose, CA and Theresa Rowley Feldkamp (John) of Clifton Park, NY. They were blessed with grandchildren Thomas Edward Rowley IV (Genevieve) of Richmond VA, Douglas Gerald Rowley (Jennifer) of Royersford, PA, John Sylvester Feldkamp of Newport VT, Elizabeth Rose Feldkamp of Lyndhurst, OH, and Michelle Parsons (Ron Gibson) of Cibolo, TX, also great grandchildren Thomas Edward Rowley V (Finn), Parker Robert Rowley, Jack David Rowley, Andrew Caiden Rowley, and Cody Patrick Palm. His surviving siblings are Brother James Rowley (Charlotte), sisters Theresa Rowley Marzoli (Robert), Margaret Rowley Raphael (William) and sister-in-law Barbara Rowley. He was predeceased by brothers John Rowley (Norma) and Michael Rowley, sisters Anna Mae Rowley and Madeline Rowley Colavito (William) and son-in law Jack Feldkamp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. His loving family was the greatest treasure in his life and he enjoyed talking to his brothers and sisters. Thomas had many hobbies including photography, coin collecting, and golf. He liked to see pictures of his extended family on Facebook. His gentle sense of humor was greatly enjoyed by all who knew him.Thomas’ passing will be commemorated at a funeral mass to be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 3, at 9:00 A.M. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Round Lake, NY. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Soloman Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Epiphany Catholic School, 1905 SW Epiphany Court, Lake City, FL 32025. Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 S.W.
