Vera Ward Register

Mrs. Vera Ward Register, age 90, of Marshfield, Missouri died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 in Marshfield, Missouri. She was born in Lake City, Florida to the parents of Vernon and Sarah Douberley Ward and lived in Miami and Gainesville, Florida before moving to Marshfield, Mo. Seven years ago. Vera worked faithfully for many years at AT & T. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. and loved gardening and took great pride in having one of the nicest yards in her neighborhood. She was preceded in death by her sons, Stephen Haver and Winfred Haver. Also preceding her in death were her three husbands, Harry L. Haver, William A. Fox and Clayton Register. Three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Eric) Luebbert of Marshfield, Mo. and Brenda (Daniel) Poirier of Blairsville, Ga.: One sister, Delores Little of Lake City, Florida: One brother, Jerry (Buck) Ward of Lake City, Fla.: Four grandchildren, Joseph Poirier, Katherine (Rob) Dean, Rebecca Luebbert, Elizabeth Luebbert and Carline Luebbert and many great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Ebeneezer Cemetery, Columbia County, Florida with Bishop Dave Morse and David Morse officiating.
