Verna Pauline Robinson

Mrs. Verna Pauline Robinson, 61 of Lake City, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Lake City Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was a daughter to the late Henry Jefferson and Pauline Varnes Finley and had lived most of her life in Lake City. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and devoted wife to her husband of 44 years and a member of the Lake City Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to yard sales and attending her church. She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Finley.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin J. Robinson, Lake City; four brothers, Lamar (Gloria) Finley, Charles Finley and Ray (Hazel) Finley all of Lake City and Harold (Debbie) Finley, Glen St. Mary; one sister, Betty Ann Robinson, Lake City; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Lee and Rev. Timothy Futch officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 12 Noon till 1:00 PM.
