Vester Albert Thiesen

Vester Albert Thiesen, 79 of Lake City, Florida passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville. Vester was born to Henry and Anna Thiesen in Dinuba, California.   Mr Thiesen has resided in the Lake City area for 24 years coming from California in 1991.  Vester was of the Mennonite Brethren faith.  Vester was a former owner and operator of a commercial contracting business.  Since his retirement in 2008 he has enjoyed working on farm tractors with his son and spending time with his family.

Mr. Thiesen leaves behind his loving wife, Janice Weiss Thiesen, sons Kelly Dean Thiesen of Lake City, Douglas Ray Thiesen of California, daughter, Janine Thiesen of Lake City, brother, Alvin Thiesen of California. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Guerry Funeral Home, Lake City, Florida.
