Walter Ronald "Ron" Hall

Walter Ronald “Ron” Wall, age 73 of Lake City, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. Mr. Wall was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late W.F. and Eva Mae Avery Wall and relocated to Lake City from Flowery Branch, Georgia nine years ago. With thirty-five years in the banking industry, Mr. Wall worked locally at First Federal Bank before retiring in 2021. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team. Mr. Wall was of the Baptist faith and will be dearly missed by all who know and love him. He is survived by his wife of forty six years: Sharon Wall of Lake City; sons: Eric (Rebeccah) Wall of Colorado Springs, and Craig (Mandy) Wall of Braselton, Georgia; daughter: Deanna Johnston of Winder, Georgia; sisters: Brenda Genovese of Lake City and Suzi Wallace of Charlotte, North Carolina; nine grandchildren and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Patricia Williams. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life from 6-8:00pm, Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd, Lake City, Florida.
