Mr. Walter Joseph Williamson, Sr., age 87, of Lake City, Florida died Saturday, June 6, at his residence following a long illness. He had resided in Lake City, Florida all of his life. He worked as a line builder with Concord Mobile Homes of Lake City for over 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed football, all sports, his family and mostly grouper fishing with is son-in-law, Steve. He was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Lake City, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Perry and Minnie Jessie Davis Williamson and his late wife, Martha Parker Williamson. He is survived by two daughters, Jeannie Colen and Diane (Steve) Edmonds both of Lake City, Florida: Two sons, Johnny Williamson and Walter “Buddy” Williamson both of Lake City, Florda: Two brothers, four sisters, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive. A remembrance service to honor the life of Mr. Williamson will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, June 9, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Mrs. Alice Parker (sister-in-law), speaking a eulogy for Mr. Williamson. Interment will be in Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida.
