Wayne William Kuelbs

Mr. Wayne William Kuelbs, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Lake City Medical Center. He was a son to the late Fritz and Lillian Burr Kuelbs and had lived in Lake City for the past 30 years. Mr. Kuelbs retired from Florida Power and Light with 27 years of employment and he was a member of the I.B.E.W. union. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Navy, lifetime member of the American Legion and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife, Paula Kuelbs, Lake City; one daughter, Theresa Schwerdt, Geneso, IL; two sons, Lloyd Ingram (Donna), Gray, GA and Jamie Lloyd (Heather), Freemont, NC; one brother, Leslie Kuelbs, Rantoul, IL; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he truly loved also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Tyre, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10-11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
