William "Bill" Alfred Raulerson

Mr. William “Bill” Raulerson, age 78, of Sanderson, Florida, passed away on November 6 at Lake City Medical Center with family by his side. Mr. Raulerson was born on January 10, 1939 in Sanderson, Florida and that’s where he would call home his entire life. He married Mrs. Gracie Harvey Raulerson and they soon opened a grocery store in Sanderson. Bill’s Grocery was open for more than 45 years . Besides the grocery store, Mr. Raulerson operated Bill's Mobile Home Services, owned a wrecker service, owned car washes, and worked construction. It’s safe to say, he was a hardworking man. When he was away from work, he loved watching football. Bill was a Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. Most importantly, Mr. Raulerson was a family man. He loved kids, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and his wife went to Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny, Florida. Mr. Raulerson is preceded in death by both parents; sisters, Beth Raulerson, Mary Combs Peeler, and Amy Hodges; and son, Arthur Dwayne Raulerson.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie Harvey Raulerson; daughters Teresa Raulerson and Eva Marie Raulerson both of Sanderson, FL; two grandchildren, Cassandra Lynn Albritton (Chris) of Sanford, FL and William Dwayne “Billy” Raulerson of Sanderson, FL; three great grandchildren, Olivia Albritton of Sanford, FL, Dahlia and Kalla Raulerson both of Sanderson, FL; and one sister, Gracie Canaday of Jacksonville, FL.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Raulerson will be held on Wednesday, November 8, at 11:00a.m. in the Chapel at Guerry Funeral Home of Macclenny. Services will be officiated by Brother David Thomas. Interment will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of GUERRY FUNERAL HOME 904-259-2211. www.guerryfuneralhome.net
