William “Bull” Byrd Feagle

William "Bull" Byrd Feagle, 87, of St. George, Georgia passed away surrounded by family Saturday, Nov. 27, at Baptist Medical Center (Downtown). Born and raised in Lake City, FL, the son of the late Shelton B. Feagle and Marie Robinson Feagle. Mr. Feagle later moved to Jacksonville, FL, in the early 1950’s where he worked as a lineman/troubleshooter for JEA. Then Mr. Feagle moved to St. George, GA, in 1976 where he worked as an independent welder on the docks of Safe Harbor at Mayport, Florida for many years. Mr. Feagle loved telling stories about his life and had a huge sense of humor while doing so. He stressed about having a strong work ethic, farming the land, and raising cows, pigs and chickens. He was an avid fan of any old westerns on T.V.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Leon “Jr.” Beasley, Elbert R. Feagle and Shelton B. Feagle. Two sisters, Betty Jo Hunter and Katherine Parnell. One son, Robert B. Feagle, and a stepson, Jesse C. Francis. One Grandchild, Jennifer Feagle and One Great Grandchild, Olivia Feagle.

He is survived by two brothers, Martin L. Feagle, and Aubrey J. Feagle.One stepbrother, Roland Edwards. One sister, Ann (Phillip) Renslow. Three sons, William David Feagle, Richard (Ricky) B. Feagle, and William (Billy) B. Feagle, Jr. One stepson, Jimmy R. Francis. Six daughters, Wanda (Odice) Mckinnon, Gondee G. Feagle, Anna (Willie) Burch, Marie A. Lewis, Sandra Lynn Stocker, and Evelyn (Michael) Robinson. Two stepdaughters, Teresa (John) Abbott and Karen (Russel) Clark. Also survived by 24 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3great-great grandchildren.

The family will accept visitation and gathering between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Guerry Funeral Home, 420 E Macclenny Ave, Macclenny, Florida 32063.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. William Feagle will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 888 SE County Road 349 Lake City, Florida with Rev. Eric Burch officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Luther Church Cemetery, Lake City, Florida.Pallbearers are Grandson’s Stuart Burch, William B. Feagle III, Eugene M. Reynolds, Zachery M. Feagle, Jacob T Theophile and Walter Rapalo-Pineda.
