Mr. William Franklin Crump, age 77, of Sanderson, Florida died Wednesday, Aug. 6, at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and resided in Lemoore, California before moving to Sanderson, Florida in 1973. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and retired as an ASJ1 First Class in 1973. After his military career, he worked as a heavy equipment operator with Anderson-Columbia Paving Company, Lake City, Fla. He was a member of the Community Full Gospel Church, Sanderson, Fla. and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He loved playing the guitar, blue grass music and telling his grandchildren stories about his life experiences. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Newton and Bessie Lee Slocum Crump. He is survived by his wife, Evelina “Liz” E. Crump of Sanderson, Fla.: Three daughters, Nancy (Scott) Tolleson of Kalispell, Montana, Flossie (Shane) Thidodeaux of Thomasville, Alabama and Trish (Harold) Taylor of Glen St. Mary, Fla.: One son, Jonathan (Angie) Crump of Keystone Heights, Fla.: One sister, Bessie Dugger of Sanderson, Fla.: One brother, Richard Crump of Florrisant, Missouri: Twelve grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Lil John, Trenton, Dylan, Matthew, Easton, Nathan, Shayla, Jessie, Maegan and Crimson: Five great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, Aug. 9, in the Community Full Gospel Church, Sanderson, Fla. with Rev. Tommy Richardson, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Florida. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Friday, Aug. 8, at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.
