William (Bill) Eugene Bassler

William “Bill” Bassler 47, of Lake City passed away unexpected on July 12, 2016 at his home. He enjoyed spending time with his family outside while grilling. He also enjoyed doing paint and body work. He leaves behind daughters Catie and Beth Bassler, grandson Dallin Brown, step-father Bill Boyd, brothers Mike , Rob and Willie Boyd, sisters Debbie Knights, Teresa Stamp, Pebble Smoot, Wanda Boyd and their families along with numerus nieces and nephews as well as other family members, and a special “Mama” Lynn Durden. He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Boyd, father William Bassler and sister Pam Bassler.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, July 18, 2016 in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home.
