William "Will" Joseph Guernsey

Mr. William “Will” Joseph Guernsey, 25 of Lake City, FL died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at his residence in Lake City. He was born in Sherman, Texas and lived all of his life in Lake City, FL. He was employed as a server with the Olive Garden Restaurant in Lake City and was in the process of starting his own business in advertising. He attended Florida Gateway College for computer programing. He dearly idolized and loved his son, Bryson and enjoyed playing basketball and helping at the Humane Society-Lake City Animal Shelter-Adoption Center.
He is survived by his son, Bryson Guernsey, Lake City; his mother, Karen K. Guernsey, Lake city; his father William “Bill” J. (Cindy) Guernsey, Lake City; three aunts, Carol Schmidt, Marlene Kirk and Betty Ralph; an uncle, Allen Walter, Lake City; his companion, Damishia Johnson, Lake City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Meloy, Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship of Lake City officiating.
