William James Paschall

William “Billy” James Paschall 67 of Lake City passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. Billy was born to Calhoun and Shirley Paschall in Lake City, Florida. Mr. Paschall was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the New Beginning Church where he served an Assistant Deacon and could be found greeting people at the front door on Sunday mornings. One of his passions was attending his church.  Mr. Paschall was retired from PCS where he was a material handler for 28 years. Billy was also a longtime member of the Loyal Order of The Moose.  He enjoyed Fishing and working in the yard but above all he loved his God granddaughter Madagail.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother and father Calhoun and Shirley Paschall.  He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Amanda Victoria Vercher, brothers Irvin, Claude, Donnie and Preston Paschall  granddaughter Adison Vecher all of Lake City. His extended family, David and Pamela Russell, David Wayne Russell II, David Norris and Madagail.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at New Beginning Church in Lake City.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00pm.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery Lake City, Florida.  Pastors Ulis Taylor and Harvey Hester will be officiating.
