Wilodyne Graham Minor, 96, of Lake City, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022. She was born in Aurora, Missouri on August 9, 1925, to Chase Preston Graham and Stella Lepp Graham. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward Thomas Minor, in 1996.
She and Ed resided in St. Petersburg for 36 years where she worked for General Electric Company. Upon her retirement in 1993 they moved to Lake City where they made many friends and wonderful memories.
Wilodyne was quiet and soft-spoken but a good listener. She enjoyed people, traveling, being outdoors, and going out to eat. She was a seamstress and enjoyed square dancing. For many years she enjoyed walking and riding her bike throughout her neighborhood. She believed in God and was faithful to her church.
She was survived by family, and friends who felt like family, from locations throughout the country. Each have special memories of special times spent with Wilodyne.
Wilodyne’s family is extremely grateful to those friends who made it possible for her to stay in the home she loved for so many years after her health began to decline. Your continued love and care as she transitioned several times through assisted living and rehabilitation did not go unnoticed and was certainly a blessing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 15, 2022, at Guerry Funeral Home, 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City, FL. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may visit prior to the service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
