Winifred C. (Coats) Register

Winifred (Winnie) C. Register, age 67 of Lake City passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 on her wedding anniversary.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake City, Florida. She believed in the Pentecostal faith.  She attended Columbia County Schools. Her devotion in life was to care for her husband, daughters and family, she cherished her two son in Laws. She enjoyed cooking and maintaining her home.  In the past she enjoyed fishing shelling at the beach, collecting wind chimes, spending time with her family and caring for her pets throughout her life.  She is preceded in death by her father and mother Bernice and Margie Coats, of Lake City, Florida.  She is survived those who cherish her memory, her husband of fifty one years, James F. Register of Lake City,  Two daughters, Mia Y. Jackson (Joe) of High Springs Heather M. Kirby (Nicholas) of Live Oak, Florida,  two granddaughters Lyndsey L. Lakes & Joy R. Harrell, three great grandchildren, Ariel Lakes, Logan Wooten and Cayden Chrest.  She also leaves behind the family dog, Buster. Funeral services to honor the life of Winnie will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 9, 1015 in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery Lake City, Florida.  Arrangements are under the care of Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW Main Blvd, Lake City, Florida. www.guerryfuneralhome@yahoo.com
